A Second Ballot Question for Education - Minnesota Permanent School Fund

There is a second school question on the Nov. 3 ballot related to Minnesota’s Permanent School Fund. This is a statewide question, impacting all learners. The 2026 constitutional amendment asks voters whether the state should modernize how Minnesota's Permanent School Fund distributes revenue to schools while preserving the trust for future generations. Passage of this constitutional amendment will generate approximately $20,600/year in revenue for Benson without raising taxes.
